Position SummaryThe Technical Implementation Specialist (also known as Migration Specialist) owns technical accuracy and configuration for customer implementations. This specialized role focuses on census accuracy, eligibility rules, platform configuration, and technical setup - enabling Account Managers to focus on relationship management.Primary ResponsibilitiesTechnical ImplementationLead technical implementation coordination including HRIS integration and platform configurationExecute data migration from legacy systems to SureCo platformManage technical setup and configuration for new and existing customersCoordinate with Product/Engineering teams on technical requirementsProvide technical discrepancy analysis and resolutionCensus & Eligibility ManagementOwn census processing and data integrityEnsure eligibility rule accuracy and proper configurationValidate employee data accuracy and completenessPartner with HRIS team on census management and troubleshootingIdentify and resolve census-related discrepanciesTechnical Reporting & ValidationGenerate and validate technical reports for customers and internal teamsPerform data quality audits and validation checksDocument technical configurations and processesSupport ongoing census maintenance and updatesTraining & EducationDeliver training and education to customer HR teams on platform usageProvide broker education and enablement on technical featuresCreate and maintain technical documentation and guidesSupport customers with technical questions and platform navigationKey Performance IndicatorsCensus and Eligibility Accuracy: = 99.5% (Primary focus)Data Migration Accuracy: = 99.5%Onboarding Time: = 60 days for technical implementationSales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to consult with clients on technical mattersWhat This Role OwnsCensus accuracyEligibility accuracyPlatform configuration supportTechnical reporting / validationHRIS integration coordinationData migration executionWhat This Role Does NOT OwnCustomer relationship ownershipEnrollment submissionPayment executionRetention strategyLeading onboarding (now owned by Account Management)Required QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)2-4 years of experience in technical implementation, data migration, or systems configurationExperience with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, BambooHR, etc.) preferredBenefits administration or healthcare technology experience a plusSkills & CompetenciesTechnical Aptitude: Strong understanding of systems, data structures, and integrationsAttention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data accuracy and validationProblem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issuesCommunication: Can translate technical concepts for non-technical audiencesDocumentation: Strong technical writing and documentation skillsTraining Delivery: Comfortable teaching and enabling usersTechnical SkillsAdvanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data manipulation)Experience with HRIS platforms and APIsUnderstanding of data integration conceptsFamiliarity with eligibility rules and benefits administrationSQL knowledge a plusSuccess ProfileYou Will Thrive If You:Love working with data and ensuring accuracyEnjoy solving technical puzzles and configuration challengesTake pride in clean, well-documented processesAre comfortable learning new systems and platformsCan balance speed with precisionAppreciate the specialization of technical workPrimary Failure Risks to Avoid:Silent Data Errors: Missing data quality issues that surface laterMisclassified Eligibility: Incorrect rules causing enrollment problemsPoor Documentation: Inadequate record-keeping of technical decisionsRole Design PhilosophySpecialization Track: This is a specialized technical role with career progressionScalable Support Function: Designed to scale efficiently as customer base growsCareer Progression Pathway: Not strictly transitional - offers growth within specialization Compensation: This is a 100% remote position (aligned with US Pacific Time) with an annual salary of $70,000 plus experience.
