What You’ll Do
As a travel SLP, you’ll support students with communication, speech, and language disorders. Your responsibilities will include:
• Completing evaluations and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Tracking student progress and collaborating with general education and special education teams
• Providing support for articulation, fluency, voice, and language impairments
• Helping students access their education and meet communication milestones
General Requirements
• Must have a valid SLP license and certification for the state of Alaska
• SLP: Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology & Alaska licensure (or eligibility)
• SLPA: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field & valid SLPA license in Alaska
• Ability to obtain temporary or travel licensure (Blazer Jobs can assist)
• CCCs preferred, though strong CF candidates may be considered
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
