Support Specialist, Accounting

The Support Specialist, Accounting is responsible for helping R365 customers with all R365 software accounting functions. This position manages pertinent customer communications through tickets, live chats, and phone calls. How you'll add value: Prompt customers for information necessary to troubleshoot problem reportsIdentify solutions to problem reports and deliver them to customersHelp customers understand R365 software accounting functionsRoute non-accounting customer issues to appropriate teams and team membersDiagnose and document software defects and escalate them to Accounting Support Lead or ManagerParticipate in live chatsManage personal queue of customer ticketsIdentify gaps in company self-help documentationTrain and mentor new team members at the request of Support managementOther duties as assigned. What you'll need to be successful in this role: Professional and / or academic accounting experienceHigh attention to detailExcel knowledgeFlexible and adaptable based on the needs of the client and internal teamSolution oriented mindset with ability to articulate under pressureEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex content with a simplified explanationStrong technical aptitude with experience communicating across multiple platformsA passion for helping people get the most out of technologyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree with emphasis in business and / or finance and / or accounting preferredRestaurant Industry ExperienceStrong understanding of general business principles Previous experience in a Support Role
