My client who is a leading brand within the CPG industry is currently looking to on board an experienced Supply Chain Business Lead/Project Manager.
You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Best-in-Class Supply Chain solutions that align with strategic business initiatives. A deep understanding of Supply chain processes and applications, and the ability to apply technical expertise to solve complex problems is required. Given the environment, practical knowledge of SAP (hands on experience) is sought. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering successful projects and driving change within a dynamic business environment.
This is a contract position which will see individuals working remotely 2 days per week, with the remaining 3 days (Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s) on-site at my client’s offices in White Plains, NY.
The Role/Core Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and capture business requirements.
• Oversee and lead the development and implementation of small to medium technology solutions, from initial concept to deployment to change management.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for SAP ECC/S/4 (FI/CO, MM, SD, pricing/conditions, master data, and IDocs); validate feasibility with solution and technical leads.
• Coordinate SIT/UAT: develop test scenarios, support defect management, and steward sign-offs for SAP changes and minor releases.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Finance stakeholders to support operational cycles such as period close, forecasting, procurement, inventory/warehouse updates, and production or copack-related workflows.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
The Candidate
• Strong business acumen with focus in Supply Chain and/ or Operations processes.
• Hands on experience working within an SAP environment (ideally with SD, MM and FI modules)
• Knowledge/involvement within past Finance related processes
• A track record of successful documentation and handoff of requirements that leads to a quality completed project
• Strong process-mapping capabilities (BPMN) and an ability to write clear user stories/acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency with Jira/Azure Dev Ops, Visio, Service Now, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Hourly Rate – $100-$115 Per Hour All Inclusive (Corp to Corp)
