Supply Chain Safety & Operational Excellence Intern

We are currently recruiting for the position of Supply Chain Safety & Operational Excellence Intern. The duration of this internship will be approximately 8 weeks located in our Irving, TX facility.
Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections of warehouse facilities and operational processes.
Support the development and implementation of safety training programs for employees.
Participate in quality control checks, verifying that products and services meet company standards and customer expectations.
Analyze safety and quality data, identifying trends and suggesting improvements.
Help maintain up-to-date records of safety training, certifications, and incident reports.
Assist in the review of safety procedures and contribute to safety policy development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication on safety and quality matters.
Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications Required
Must be able to report in-person to designated warehouse location 5 days / week
Rising Senior pursing a bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field
Strong interest in safety, quality control, and logistics operations.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screen, background check, and authorization to work in the U.S. are required for all qualified applicants.
