About the position

Cigna's Supplemental Health Solutions (SHS) business provides Accidental Injury (AI), Critical Illness (CI), and Hospital Care (HC) insurance and is a growth product suite within Cigna. The Lead Analyst will be responsible for the building, coordinating, and execution of multiple projects as it relates to the Supplemental Health operations/product strategy. Primary responsibility will be to work with key matrix partners on new requests, production fixes and/or enhanced operationalization needs. This includes assessing technology enhancements impacting people and processes within the organization. The Lead Analyst is the liaison between the Distribution Teams, Service Operations, and The SHS Operations team to ensure business continuity. The actions of this role have significant impact to all of the SHS operations teams supporting our organization as well as impacts to our customers, clients and brokers. Effectively maximize key relationships to create synergies, alliances and opportunities by collaborating on business requirements and plans projects based on business and leadership feedback. Accountable for coordinating and supporting the Cigna Supplemental Health product/operations roadmap and related activities to drive growth of our portfolio. Effectively document and communicate business requirements to support prioritization reviews and IT grooming sessions. Develop tracking and reporting processes to monitor the execution of projects and initiatives that align to key strategic priorities and drive continued growth. Coordination with our Product Management and Product Owners the Lead Analyst with ensure risks are proactively surfaced and transparent, ensuring impacts are fully understood, communicated and disruption to business performance is managed and minimal. As needed, escalates issues to appropriate audiences including key business leaders and team members. Completes and analyzes business needs for improved operational execution with appropriate strategies for execution by assessing impacts of new and non-standard processes from a cost, efficiency, contractual, legal or regulatory standpoint.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
,
• Minimum of 3 years business and industry experience preferably within the Supplemental Health organization.
,
• Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders.
,
• Strong change management expertise.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage concurrent efforts.
