Work days/Shift Hours Ā if applicable: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
General Purpose
Position Description: Responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials. Supervises warehouse personnel. Responsible for the effective and efficient distribution of product and management of drivers within a specific territory.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ā Responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials.
Ā Supervises warehouse personnel.
Ā Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
Ā Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse.
Ā Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility.
Ā Allocate necessary space for stock rotation.
Ā Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
Ā Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
Ā Secure company assets.
Ā Manage within labor and OPEX budget.
Ā Manage and audit team member's timekeeping.
Qualifications
Ā High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Ā 1-3 years warehouse/inventory experience required or experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required.
Ā Requires experience managing people/budgets.
Ā 2+ years supervising warehouse/inventory staff preferred.
Ā Computer and database application skills.
Ā Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Ā Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product.
Ā Forklift certification is required upon commencement of work.
