What You’ll Do Day-To-Day:
Ensures effective performance of engineering assignments. Plans and directs the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned. Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards. Ensures adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures. Monitors goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members. Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships. Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements. Works on special projects, as directed. Performs other related duties and tasks, as required. Preferred Skills/Knowledge:Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in development of others.Ability to set priorities and goals and work effectively to meet them.Knowledge of pressurized water reactors and required licensing analyses, specifically safety analysisCustomer focus and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers on technical tasks and associated schedules.Problem-solving and decision-making, ability to analyze complex problems and make informed decisions.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringDependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted. Minimum of 5 years of related experience.Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria. Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills. Displays leadership characteristics. Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking. Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills.
Total Rewards Package:
Total Rewards Package Salary: $99,000 - $134,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
