About the position

Responsibilities
• Supervise a team of Inventory Control employees, including Workflow Coordinators and Associates.
• Spend approximately 75% of time on the operational floor engaging with associates and providing coaching and feedback.
• Manage the allocation of equipment and labor resources to meet service levels and budgets.
• Conduct regular quality and accuracy control audits.
• Administer policies and guidelines affecting work activities, including performance counseling.
• Set clear expectations for team productivity results and conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Identify and prioritize tasks to meet daily business goals and ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Drive safety strategies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and service.
• Assign work, meet completion dates, and ensure consistent application of inventory control standards.
• Resolve problems through broad-based analysis and present solutions to senior leaders.
• Build trust with business partners by explaining decision-making processes.
• Plan and execute cycle counting activities and physical inventories.
• Regularly update Inventory Control SOPs and ensure proper training for associates.

Requirements
• College degree in a logistics-related field or 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
• Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably JDA WMS.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and human relation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks confidently and effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop self and others.
• Ability to analyze problems and create solutions.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in a supervisory role within a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and methodologies.
