Supervisor, Compliance Audit

Position Purpose: Oversees internal audits to ensure organizational adherence to federal, state, and regulatory requirements. Supervises a team of auditors, coordinates audit activities, and collaborates with cross-functional departments to identify and mitigate compliance risks. • Supervise day-to-day operations of the compliance audit team, including assigning audits, monitoring progress, and reviewing audit findings. • Develop and implement audit plans and methodologies aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. • Ensure timely and accurate completion of audits related to Centene’s operational areas. • Review and validate audit reports, findings, and recommendations before submission to leadership. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address audit findings and support corrective action planning. • Monitor regulatory changes and update audit protocols accordingly. • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to audit staff. • Prepare and present audit metrics, trends, and risk assessments to senior leadership. • Maintain documentation and records in accordance with compliance and audit standards. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Complies with all policies and standards. Education/Experience: • Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent experience. required • 3+ years management experience Healthcare compliance, auditing, or regulatory affairs required • 2+ years management experience in a supervisory or team lead experience in a managed care or healthcare setting required • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations including CMS, HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and state-specific requirements required Licenses/Certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or similar certification preferred Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
