Responsibilities Contributing to our team of highly skilled Cloud Engineers/Software Engineers/Data Engineers, dedicated to accelerating the adoption of digital innovation across Manulife Effectively complete projects and other duties as assigned in a collaborative and challenging environment Implementing and building solutions that will support advancing our target state architecture and aligning with our client's strategic vision Working closely with the business teams to gather requirements for new and changes to existing business solutions Participating in community-driven projects which are focused on removing roadblocks and empowering teams Help us make technology provisioning, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, release management, migration, or decommissioning better, faster, and simpler Skills Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience developing modern applications in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Go, Java script, etc.) Experience collaborating on and/or managing code in a source code versioning system (Git, BitBucket, etc.) Experience in relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL Benefits Flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words Early access to Manulife John Hancock’s premier early talent program, GRO Company Overview Manulife is a leading international financial services group that helps people make their decisions easier and lives better.
