Department Overview:
Summer Collegiate Experience (SCE) is a high-impact, quality-learning, six-week residential summer program for first-year students entering UW-Madison. All student participants and SCE live-in staff members reside in an on-campus residence hall during the program.

Anticipated Start Date:
June 22

Anticipated End Date (If Applicable):

The SCE UHF position is an on-site, live-in position and requires full commitment to the program. UHFs work 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends. UHFs will live in an on-campus residence hall with all the program participants and have meals at Four Lakes Market. No other large commitments can be scheduled during the employment period (such as extended vacation or other employment opportunities).

While taking classes during the summer is a large commitment and is not generally recommended for UHFs, SCE professional staff understand that within certain parameters, balancing classes with UHF duty shifts can be manageable. For example:

-Experience: having previous experience taking summer classes while working full-time would be highly preferred.
