Summer 2026 UX/UI Kroger Technology & Digital Intern

The Kroger Summer Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. Responsibilities • Partner with numerous product teams that are focused on making great user-centric products that delight customers and drive the business • Understand and empathize with users by supporting Customer Research activities including interviews, contextual observation and surveys; use personas and other data to understand customer problems, behaviors and goals • Focus on user problems utilizing journey maps, user flows, UX canvases or other artifacts that identify problems to solve through design • Maintain and follow operational procedures and processes • Participate in weekly/monthly department meetings • Assist in working on new technology platforms that are revolutionizing the retail industry • Engage with peers on committees that include philanthropy, branding and community events • Participate in intern programs that support technical and leadership development within the organization • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation Qualifications Minimum • Open to Product Design, Visual Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related degree, must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.0 • Highly motivated student with the desire to take initiative on their own work Desired • Technical majors preferred • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in groups or independently • Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve confidentiality of information • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization • Ability to analyze and interpret information and apply to business needs • Commitment to providing customer service • Prior experience in a retail environment Apply tot his job
