GID is a privately-held, fully-integrated real estate company founded in 1960 that develops, owns, operates, and manages multifamily and industrial assets, and also provides real estate debt solutions. We are pleased to offer highly motivated college students an opportunity to enjoy a rewarding work experience with GID Industrial in Dallas in Summer 2026. Candidates will be evaluated during the interview process and based on their interest, expertise, and core competencies placed in either the Asset Management or Acquisitions teams.
INTERNSHIP HIGHLIGHTS
• Summer interns will work on projects ranging from valuations, market research, data analysis, and reporting. Over the course of the internship program, interns will gain core competencies, and foundational sector-specific knowledge necessary to succeed in the industrial real estate sector.
• Participants will be assigned both a manager and a mentor who will serve as the intern's most immediate resource for questions, workload, guidance, and support.
• The program includes a robust training curriculum designed specifically for summer interns. The skills learned during these sessions will culminate in a capstone presentation delivered at the end of the program to members of GID's Executive Committee.
• Educational and social events are scheduled throughout the program that provide knowledge sharing, professional development and networking.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Highly motivated students pursuing a college degree, typically rising seniors.
• Interest in private equity and/or real estate.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform comprehensive analyses.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Python, and R Studio is a bonus.
• Ability to leverage AI tools and data-driven technologies.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
DURATION
• Full-time, 10-week paid internship.
• Commences on Monday, June 1st, 2026, and ends on Friday, August 7th, 2026.
