Key Responsibilities: Provide instructional support to students in various classroom settings, assisting teachers with lesson plans, and facilitating student learning. Develop and maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement. Assist with classroom management, including supervising students, monitoring behavior, and implementing behavioral interventions as needed. Support students with diverse needs, including those with special education requirements, English language learners, and students who require extra help. Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to ensure seamless collaboration and student success. Utilize technology to enhance instruction, facilitate communication, and promote student learning. Perform other related duties as assigned by the teacher or administrator. Requirements and Qualifications: To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following: New York State Teacher Assistant or Teacher Certification (preferred); or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents/guardians. Technological proficiency , with experience using digital tools and platforms to support instruction and communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and needs. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a teaching assistant or in a related role. Familiarity with educational software and technology, including learning management systems and digital tools. Experience working with students with diverse needs, including special education and English language learners. Bilingual or multilingual skills.
