Substation CAD Drafter

They are seeking Substation CAD Drafters to collaborate with engineers and designers, creating high-quality deliverables for major utility clients using MicroStation and AutoCAD.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with our CAD Lead/Manager and substation design teams to complete drafting and detailing tasksCreate and modify Protection & Control, SCADA, Communications, and Physical Electrical drawings—ensuring accuracy and attention to detailDeliver top-quality work products, efficiently and on time, in a collaborative engineering/production settingAdhere to CAD standards and procedures, and help drive project successSkillsAssociate of Applied Science in Drafting and Design (or equivalent experience)Level 2: 1-3+ years of industry drafting experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStationLevel 3: 3-5+ years of experienceLevel 4: 5+ years and comprehensive drafting knowledgeProficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Windows OS, and Microsoft OfficeExperience with document management tools (ProjectWise, FTP, SharePoint)Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment3D modeling in MicroStation/AutoCADKnowledge of VBA, AutoLISP, AutoCAD Electrical, or Bentley SubstationBenefitsHealth and Wellness programsIncome ProtectionPaid LeaveRetirementCompany OverviewLeidos is an industry and technology leader serving government and commercial customers with smarter, more efficient digital and mission innovations.
