You will be a resource for clients and community partners, guiding them on the path to recovery. You will work side by side with a high impact team of medical providers, recovery coaches and coordinators, helping clients to thrive. Your work is essential and your constant feedback will be expected to help clients reach the best outcome possible.Unless otherwise specified, this position is remote (work from home) with expectation of attending team meetings quarterly. A potential for hybrid capability further in the future is preferred.What you will do:Demonstrating and communicating the core values of Better Life PartnersFacilitating group therapy sessions for Better Life Partners clientsFamiliarizing with and utilizing Better Life Partners evidence-based curriculum guides and trainingProviding detailed feedback and maintaining clinical progress notes on clientsCounseling one-on-one with clients, when deemed necessaryParticipating in Better Life Partners’, community research and public health partners’ research and data collection effortsFormulating and maintaining treatment plans for each client servedCollaborating with community partners and Better Life Partners providers on case management and care coordination effortsAdhering to professional and ethical work standards, enforcing appropriate counselor/client boundariesManaging group dynamics and problem behavior with strong, professional judgement and in a way that does not jeopardize group integrityMaintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations for licensing and billing purposesAttending and engaging in regular training, company meetings, monthly counselor consultation, and supervision as necessaryYou are a good fit if you have:Bachelor or Graduate degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions or related fieldNH License as LADC, MLADC, LMFT, LCMHC, LICSW; Master level preferred2-3 years of experience working with substance use or related fieldValid driver’s licenseBi-lingual Spanish proficiencyIt will also be great if you have:Demonstrated experience leading groups therapy sessions, interacting, engaging, and connecting with individuals and groups over telehealth/zoom Comfortable working with an EMR and/or EHR system, including updating clinical notesWillingness to travel locally within the communities we serveMust be able to have a flexible schedule, including the ability to work 1-2 evenings a week to meet our member’s needsSelf-motivated to help as many people as possible Team player with an ā€œall hands on deckā€ positive attitude, organized/able to multitaskStrong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanorLocation requirements:BLP operates in hybrid and remote work environments, which allows us to better meet our members and partners where they’re located. Candidates applying for this role must be willing and able to travel locally within the communities we serve and/or travel to onsite meetings as expected in coordination with their department and business needs.
