As a Subcontract Administrator at the Vertical Launch System (VLS) Life Cycle Support Facility (LCSF) in Ventura, CA, you'll be facilitating the procurement cycle from beginning to end, ensuring timely delivery of quality products to support sustainment of the MK41 fleet in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.THE WORKYour responsibilities will include:
Sourcing and purchasing equipment, tools, materials, parts, and services
Processing and managing repairs at suppliers
Reviewing proposals, selecting suppliers, and negotiating prices and terms and conditions
Determining fair and reasonable pricing based on technical evaluation, market data, and/or cost analysis
Executing subcontracts and providing subcontract management support
Issuing Proprietary Information Agreements
Working closely with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless procurement processes

Bachelors degree from an accredited college
Experience in Subcontract Management and/ or Supply Chain
Must be proficient Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures
associated with FAR/DFAR requirementsDesired skills
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of SAP and/or LMP2P Business Systems
Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) and command media
Prior Sustainment experience (repairs and spares)
Experience managing critical major suppliers
Experience with long term agreements/pricing agreements
Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizations
