Student Support Lab Coordinator - Remote Education Professional for Academic and Behavioral Student Success

About the Role The Student Support Lab Coordinator is a critical position that serves students who have been referred to either the Academic or Behavioral Student Support Team. This role reports to the Director of Student Support and is responsible for overseeing the Student Support Lab, providing academic coaching and instructing, and implementing evidence-based interventions to support students' academic and behavioral growth. Key Responsibilities Organize and manage the Student Lab, ensuring a productive and supportive learning environment Collaborate with mentors to identify students who require additional support and contact parents and students to invite them to attend the Student Support Lab Monitor student attendance, involvement, and progress, providing data-driven insights to inform instruction and intervention Assign and supervise staff responsible for overseeing student support in the lab, ensuring effective implementation of support services Assist mentors in facilitating Tier 2 Response To Intervention and implement evidence-based interventions with identified students Communicate with parents regarding student needs and progress, ensuring transparency and collaboration Provide Academic Coaching and Instructing to Students as Needed, helping students develop essential time management and study skills Conduct lab sessions that enable students to complete and understand classwork, fostering a deeper understanding of academic concepts Attend scheduled training for intervention programs, achieving knowledge sufficient to implement them with fidelity Coordinate and report results to stakeholders, documenting and communicating weekly with students, parents, mentors, and supervisors Develop quarterly goals for professional development, driving continuous growth and improvement Respond to emails within 24 hours and complete all Asana tasks, ensuring timely and effective communication Other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting the Student Support Team Qualifications and Requirements Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience tutoring, teaching, working as a teacher's assistant, or similar experience OR an Associate's degree and one year of experience in a related field Proven work experience with educational staff, students, and their families, demonstrating a deep understanding of the education ecosystem Proven integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment, with a strong commitment to supporting student success Preferred Qualifications Advocacy skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve the overall vision for the school Ability to respond effectively to the needs of diverse students and families, demonstrating cultural competence and empathy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and educators Excellent computer skills, with the ability to adapt and learn various state systems, programs, and processes What We Offer At Workwarp, we're committed to supporting the well-being and success of our team members.
