We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Success & Retention Advisor to join our team at Anne Arundel Community College. As a key member of our Student Achievement and Success Program (SASP), you will play a vital role in providing direct academic, career, and personal guidance to support the academic success, transfer, and graduation of our students.
Job Highlights:
Competitive salary range: $54,180 - $67,725 per year
Full-time, exempt position with a 40-hour workweek

Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized academic, career, and personal advising to students
Develop and implement educational plans to support student success and retention
Monitor and document student progress, identifying areas for intervention and support
Collaborate with campus resources and community services to provide comprehensive support to students
Participate in recruitment and outreach efforts to support student enrollment and retention
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Master's degree or higher in a related field
Minimum of two years of relevant experience working with diverse student populations
Experience supporting or working with Hispanic/Latinx communities
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems
