At Unbound Academy, we're building a fully virtual, tuition-free charter school—one that replaces worksheets with hands-on learning and makes personal growth the main event. Here, students power through academics in two focused hours using AI-powered tools. The rest of the day is dedicated to something equally valuable: immersive workshops that foster life skills, curiosity, and confidence.
You won't be delivering scripted lessons or managing a virtual classroom. You'll be leading energetic online sessions that help students explore bold ideas through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness, and more. You'll coach them toward independence, guide their personal growth, and help them develop the skills that matter most in the real world.
This isn't a job for someone clinging to the old model of school. It's for Arizona-certified teachers ready to lead remotely, teach differently, and support kids in ways that actually prepare them for life. What You Will Be Doing
• Leading interactive, virtual workshops that focus on life skills like creativity, communication, and problem-solving
• Mentoring students one-on-one and in small groups to build confidence, self-direction, and executive function
• Using platform data to tailor support and track progress over time
• Collaborating with fellow educators to design and improve project-based learning experiences
• Creating a safe, high-energy space where students feel seen, heard, and excited to grow
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Teaching core academics—that's handled by AI tutors
• Delivering scripted lectures or enforcing a traditional classroom model
• Grading assignments or prepping standardized lesson plans

Support student growth and life readiness by leading transformative, real-world learning experiences in a flexible, fully virtual school model.
Basic Requirements
• Valid Arizona teaching certificate
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or coaching students (Grades 4–8 preferred)
• Strong virtual presence; comfortable leading via video
• Available to work full-time (M–F, 8am–5pm Arizona time)
• Ready to begin by August 2025
• Excited to work in a tech-forward, student-centered school

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
