ABOUT WESTBRIDGE CHURCH: Located just 30 minutes outside of downtown Minneapolis, St. Michael is a fast-growing part of the Twin Cities! Westbridge Church completed construction on a permanent facility in 2019 and is currently in a campaign to raise funding for a phase 2 building. Averaging about 1,400 people / weekend. Westbridge is a non-denominational church started in 2007. Our mission is simply to become people helping people find & follow Jesus! We are currently looking for a new, full-time Student Ministry Pastor. St. Michael has a very family-oriented demographic! We currently have around 150 students in 6th - 12th grades meeting on a weekly basis. JOB DESCRIPTION: To develop leaders and create accessible and transformational environments for students in 6th-12th grade, helping students grow in their relationship with God and engage in life-giving relationships with others. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee all aspects of weekly student programming for 6th – 12th • Oversee all aspects of special events that help accomplish this objective. (Retreats, Mission Trips, Events) • Mobilize and equip leaders to build influential relationships with students. • Work to become an essential resource for parents of 6th – 12th grade students. • Be a great teammate with whatever is needed as it relates to your department – be HUMBLE, HUNGRY, and SMART! THE BEST FIT: • Must love students! • Self-starter! Must be self-motivated to accomplish objectives. • Team builder and developer (lead through others) • FUN! This position currently reports to the Lead Pastor. As we grow, we will hire an executive pastor and Student Ministry Pastor will report to Executive Pastor. Also opportunity for the right candidate to grow into a “Next Gen” or “Family Life” role where they oversee staffing in ages newborn–12th grade and beyond as part of an executive team. Apply Job!
