Student Achievement Strategist - English Language Arts (Grades K-2)

Job Summary: The Student Achievement Strategist will work closely with teachers and schools to identify and implement strategies that increase student achievement. This will involve instructional coaching, professional development, core-subject knowledge teaching, data-use training, and technology tools training. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teachers and principals to identify instructional strategies that accelerate student achievement
Provide real-time instructional coaching and professional development to enhance teacher content knowledge and effective use of instructional strategies
Engage with teachers to use student data to develop rigorous lesson plans and differentiate instruction for various student groups
Coordinate and deliver training for teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators in ELL strategies
Monitor and demonstrate how to align instructional materials, district curriculum, and AZ College and Career Readiness Standards
Research and identify best practices for differentiating instructional strategies to support interventions
Coach teachers to effectively integrate technology and use blended learning models
Guide teachers to effectively use district online assessments and data to inform instruction
Requirements:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
Valid AZ teacher's certificate
Valid Arizona English As A Second Language (ESL) or Bilingual Endorsement preferred
Five years of successful experience teaching English Language Learners preferred
Experience with diverse student populations
Knowledge and experience in Scientifically Based Research (SBR) instructional strategies and programs
Knowledge of blended learning models preferred
Experience using a variety of technological tools preferred
Ability to work collaboratively with all staff
