Our client, a prominent international AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their Structured Finance Practice in Washington, DC. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated financing transactions, including complex securitizations and warehouse lending facilities, within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
Candidate Profile
ā¢ JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
ā¢ Active Bar Admission in the District of Columbia, in good standing
ā¢ 2-3 years of substantive transactional law experience
ā¢ Experience in structured finance and securitization transactions strongly preferred
ā¢ Experience drafting complex lending agreements, including warehouse credit facilities
ā¢ Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
ā¢ Soft skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Draft and negotiate complex lending agreements and related financing documentation
ā¢ Support securitization and structured finance transactions across a broad range of asset classes
ā¢ Assist with warehouse credit arrangements and related collateral and financing matters
ā¢ Manage multiple active matters simultaneously and coordinate with attorneys and colleagues across practice groups
ā¢ Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance to support financing structures and market developments
