Structural Engineer; Remote

Position: Structural Engineer (Remote) Spectra Tech, Inc. is hiring for several Structural Engineers (Remote) Job Summary We are looking for a Structural Engineer to support design of a new nuclear facility. Candidate will be performing the following: • Design structural systems • GT Strudl, STAAD Pro and FEA (finite element analysis) programs experience is desired • Concrete structures design experience of a nuclear infrastructure project is desired • Fuel Fabrication design experience preferred • Must be highly knowledgeable and proficient in material designs such as steel, masonry, concrete, cold formed metal design. • Requires ability to work with AISC, ACI, AWS, ASD, ANSI, and other codes and standards applicable to nuclear facility designs. Qualifications • B.S. degree in Civil engineering or similar engineering degree is required • Minimum of 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience is required. • PE License preferred (but not required) • Must have experience working with nuclear facilities. • Must have knowledge of project engineering activities • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance • UF6 or centrifuge facility design experience highly desired At Spectra Tech, Inc., our recruitment team is powered by real people in real time-personally reviewing every application with care and integrity.
