We are seeking a compassionate and patient Customer Support Representative to provide essential support to individuals enrolling in public benefit programs on behalf of Automated Health Systems. As a remote independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to balance your work and personal life while making a positive impact on people's well-being and peace of mind.
About the Role:
Answer inbound calls and interact with customers in a professional, empathetic, and compassionate manner
Provide information in accordance with established policies, procedures, and privacy laws
Assist customers with program enrollment and route them to the appropriate contacts via three-way calls
Utilize multiple computer systems to access data and document information
Make outbound calls as needed to share time-sensitive information with customers
Requirements:
At least 1 year of customer service experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong active listening skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in PC skills, including the ability to quickly learn new computer applications
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and professionalism
Strong multitasking skills and ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Your Home Office Environment:
Computer with Windows 10 or 11, 8GB of RAM, and a hard drive with at least 500MB of free space
Up-to-date antivirus software and high-speed, hardwired internet
Dual monitors and a USB noise-cancelling headset
Webcam for certification experience
