Job Title: Strategy & Operations Consultant (Remote) Cost Center: 101651008 Strategy and Operations Improv Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Mon-Fri; day shifts (United States of America) Job Description: JOB SUMMARY The Strategy & Operations Consultant helps execute transformational and foundational strategic initiatives, identify system performance improvement opportunities, and design, pilot, and scale solutions across Marshfield Clinic Health System. This individual is an internal consultant and identifies strategic and operational improvement opportunities, partnering with system leaders to quantify opportunities, and lead in complex problem-solving. The Strategy and Operations Consultant is a thought partner for the system’s leaders, and, as such, will be providing critical and honest insight on the system’s improvement opportunities. This individual will have broad and extensive experience in healthcare operations, strategic planning, leadership coaching, and problem solving. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, nursing, or related field. Preferred/Optional: Master’s degree. EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: Seven years’ experience in healthcare operations or leadership, three years’ experience working with executive leadership, and prior experience identifying, developing and driving system-wide strategic initiatives with demonstrable results in addition to one of the following: • Strategy development and deployment • Project and portfolio management • Workforce optimization and labor cost efficiency • Operations improvement • Data analytics and visualization • Emerging technologies and innovation Preferred/Optional: External healthcare consulting experience. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
