ABOUT THE POSITION As Truvani's Raw Materials Sourcing Manager, you will lead our raw material supply chain operations while focusing on optimizing costs, onboarding new and managing existing supplier/manufacturer relationships, and ensuring supply quality, sustainability, and continuity. You will be responsible for ensuring that we have a reliable, cost-effective supply of high-quality, certified organic and natural raw materials to meet our production needs. This role is critical to our growth, as it ensures we have the right ingredients at the right price, while maintaining our high standards for quality, sustainability, and compliance. Our ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, and the ability to build and manage supplier relationships while maintaining the integrity of Truvani's mission and values. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS • Strong negotiation and contract management skills • A deep understanding of supply chain dynamics • Experience onboarding and managing suppliers and manufacturers • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management in the organic food, supplements, or natural products industry. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE • Strategy Development: Create and implement strategic plans for sourcing raw materials while optimizing costs, upholding our high standards for ingredient quality, and maintaining raw materials supply continuity. • Supplier/Manufacturer Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new ingredient suppliers and manufacturers, with a focus on certified organic sources; manage existing supplier/manufacturer relationships. • Cost Reduction & Negotiation: Drive down costs through smart purchasing strategies, volume negotiations, and supplier partnerships without compromising quality or certification standards. • Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management: Ensure availability of raw materials to support production schedules while minimizing overstock and waste; maintain optimal inventory in alignment with forecasted demand. • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies, organic certifications, and industry regulations. • Collaboration: Work with internal departments such as finance, research and development, and production to ensure supply continuity and alignment with Truvani's mission and values.
