Strategic Project Management Analyst
Under close supervision, responsible for basic project management activities of low to medium complexity project(s), and support more senior level project management staff for high complexity projects. • Basic project management activities include development and maintenance of project schedules, status reporting, issue management, and other tasks required to effectively manage and monitor a project through to successful completion (on time, within budget, adhering to high quality standards, and meeting internal & external customer expectations) • Capture, maintain and manage projects in Planview (DRIVE, enterprise project management system), prepare and co-faciltate project reviews with key stakeholders, prepare project (portfolio) updates for (Executive) Management • Support team with Initiation of project (project charters, project plan, communication plan, stakeholder analysis, onboarding project team members) • Tracks, analyse and report on project expected benefits / values • Tracks project spending against budgets • Performs other duties as assigned. • Bachelor's degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration • 3-5 years working experience in Supply Chain and/or Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding and/or Brokerage industry • 2 years experience in Project Management and/or leading Continuous Improvement projects (QDM, Six Sigma, Lean managment) Preferred Qualifications: Variable remote with some in office work, and some remote. Some minimal travel 5-10% Domestic. Seeking strong analytical skills. Preferred experience with Power BI and Smartsheets.
