We're a dynamic, innovative, and customer-centric company dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives.Position SummaryReporting to the Lead Product Manager of Operation Technology, the Strategic Partnerships Senior Product Manager owns product for Gifthealth's most important external commercial relationship with a lead pharmaceutical manufacturer. This role bridges partner needs, Gifthealth’s platform, and what must be built. It owns partner requirements, converts ambiguous requests into engineering-ready specifications, manages the working relationship, and protects internal teams from unvetted input. Success requires real product judgment, diplomatic pushback, and the credibility to serve as a trusted counterpart to a sophisticated external partner.We are seeking a Strategic Partnerships Senior Product Manager to support the product team in serving our key client’s needs. This position plays a critical role in serving as a trusted counterpart to a sophisticated external partner, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOwns requirements intake from the partner; triaging, clarifying, and documenting all incoming needs before they reach internal teamsTranslates ambiguous partner requirements into precise, engineering-ready specifications with context, acceptance criteria, and trade-offsHolds the partnership at the working level — regular cadences, status communication, proactive escalation, mutual accountabilitySurfaces patterns across the partnership and recommends platform investments vs. one-off buildsCollaborates with product, engineering, and commercial teams, serving as the trusted advisor for all stakeholdersQualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, design, or related field OR equivalent practical experience (Required)Licensure/Certification: NoneExperience: 5–7 years of experience in product management, product strategy, or product marketing (Required)Demonstrated experience at the commercial–product boundary with enterprise or partner-driven requirements (Required)Track record of holding high-stakes external stakeholder relationships at the working level (Required)Experience writing real specifications (engineering-ready requirements with edge cases and acceptance criteria) (Required)Experience managing requirements for a pharma manufacturer partnership (patient support programs, hub services, or access programs) (Preferred)Commercial PM, product marketing, or solutions experience (Preferred)Digital pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or patient access programs (Preferred)Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of commercial product management at the enterprise/partner boundary; requirements writing for enterprise or partner-driven workstreams (not just internal roadmap); healthcare or pharma industry (patient access, market access, how pharma manufacturers think about partnerships); and external stakeholder relationship management at the working level (Required)Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer hub services, patient support programs, specialty access programs and digital pharmacy or specialty pharmacy workflows (Preferred) Collaborative problem-solving skills (Required)Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills (Required)Ability to write structured requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, open questions, and engineering -ready output) (Required)Ability to run working-level meetings with demanding external partners (cadences, follow-through, status communication) (Required)Ability to exercise diplomacy and seek mutually beneficial outcomes with external stakeholders (Required)Ability to sit in open-ended, vague conversations with external stakeholders and leave with enough structure to write a specification (Required)Ability to earn trust quickly with a sophisticated, demanding partnerAbility to protect internal teams from unvetted, unstructured input without damaging the external relationship (Required)Ability to represent Gifthealth credibly in high-stakes external meetings without escalation (Required)Ability to utilize AI tools for requirements work, mockups, and lightweight prototyping (Required)Ability to build lightweight prototypes or mockups to demonstrate solutions to external partners (Preferred)Ability to manage a high-volume, fast-moving requirements pipeline (Preferred)Commercial product or GTM experience (product marketing, solutions, commercial PM) skills (Preferred)Ability to identify scalable platform patterns across partner requirements that suggest long-term investment rather than one-off builds (Preferred)Ability to use AI to ship something lightweight that closes a loop or validates a direction quickly (Preferred)Work EnvironmentLocation: Remote/HybridSchedule: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
