Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Lead

About the RoleWe’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Lead to grow Granted’s distribution through partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem, from systems and startups to platforms, employers, and beyond.This is a foundational hire. You’ll work directly with the CEO to build the partnerships motion from scratch, close pilot deals, and create a repeatable GTM playbook. You’ll also collaborate with our brand and product teams to ensure our partnership materials are world-class and that our value prop is crystal clear.We’ve seen strong inbound interest and know the need is real. Now, we need someone with the experience, polish, and drive to move from exploration to execution. What You’ll OwnBuild & manage the full BD pipeline: Prioritize high-potential verticals (broker networks, payers, TPAs, employer groups, etc.), source and qualify leads, and drive deals forward.Close 2–3 pilot partnerships: Lead complex, high-touch BD cycles (~6–12 months), get early wins live, and iterate fast.Craft GTM narratives: Collaborate with marketing/branding to develop killer pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and partner onboarding materials.Develop a repeatable playbook: Build the infrastructure and tools (CRM, sales ops, outreach materials) to scale our channel motion.Represent Granted externally: Be the face of Granted with partners: credible, consultative, and relentless in your follow-through. You AreExperienced in healthcare: You deeply understand the U.S. healthcare system: payer incentives, broker models, TPA structures, employer dynamics, etc.Proven in long-cycle BD: You’ve led complex B2B or B2B2C partnerships with 6–18+ month sales cycles and closed multi-stakeholder deals.Elite communicator: Polished, persuasive, and clear. You know how to sell a vision, and you can adjust your pitch on the fly.Strategic + scrappy: You can build a go-to-market strategy, and roll up your sleeves to execute every detail.Extremely driven: Ambitious, sharp, and relentless. You’ve got something to prove, and it shows.✅ Requirements4–6+ years of experience in healthcare partnerships, biz dev, or strategyBackground in a high-performance environment: top-tier undergrad, MBA, consulting firm, or venture-backed startupTrack record of closing complex, high-value dealsStrong project management skills, you can drive multiple deals forward without dropping the ballHigh integrity, low ego, and a desire to build something that mattersNice to HaveExperience at an early-stage startupExposure to employer benefits, digital health, or insurance techNetwork of healthcare systems, brokers, payers, or benefit leaders
