The Finance Team at Sword plays a critical role in maintaining the company's financial health and sustainability as we strive to provide excellent healthcare solutions. Our team manages financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as accounting, revenue operations, and procurement. By optimizing resource allocation, ensuring compliance, and driving efficient revenue operations, we offer strategic insights that enable informed decision-making and support Sword's continued growth and impact.
We collaborate closely with all teams, providing the financial support needed to drive innovation and achieve organizational goals, while ensuring responsible financial practices and compliance. What you’ll be doing
Research and identify new innovation grant opportunities at a global level;
Prepare, submit, and manage applications for global innovation grants, including technical, scientific, and financial components;
Coordinate cross-functional meetings to identify and define innovation projects eligible for funding;
Liaise with promoting entities, project partners, and funding bodies to ensure alignment and compliance throughout the grant lifecycle. What you need to have
3+ years of experience in strategy consulting or hands-on work with innovation grant programs;
Strong proficiency in spoken and written English;
Ability to conduct critical analysis, in-depth research, and technical writing in the areas of Innovation, Research, and Technological Development;
Solid knowledge of local and international Private and European funding programs;
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously;
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment;
Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset;
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate and align diverse stakeholders. What we would love to see:
Experience in preparing, submitting, and managing AI-focused R&D projects (2–3 years);
Ability to build trust-based relationships at all levels of the organization;
Clear, structured communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
