Strategic Account Manager (CryoDuct)

Objective The Strategic Account Manager – CryoDuct is responsible for driving revenue growth for Schebler's CryoDuct product line across the United States and Canada. This role develops and executes a national business development strategy, builds relationships with key decision-makers, identifies project opportunities early, and converts those opportunities into revenue. This position requires a proactive, field-based sales approach with a strong focus on technical sales, pipeline management, and market expansion, while operating with a high level of autonomy in managing the territory and driving results. Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the Director of Sales, Schebler Chimney Systems. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Key Performance Expectations: Achieve defined annual revenue and margin targets for the CryoDuct product line. Build and maintain a healthy, active national sales pipeline with consistent and measurable opportunity flow. Expand CryoDuct specifications and early project engagement with engineers, OEMs, and key decision-makers. Increase market penetration and brand awareness across target industries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute a business development plan for the CryoDuct product line across the United States and Canada, aligned with company sales objectives. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and industry engagement. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with engineers, contractors, building owners, developers, OEMs, and other decision-makers. Build and maintain strong relationships with key market partners to increase product awareness, specifications, and sales opportunities. Generate, manage, and maintain an active national sales pipeline by tracking leads, quotes, project stages, and expected close dates. Maintain consistent communication with customers and prospects to advance opportunities and improve conversion rates. Track and analyze current and past quote activity to assess future sales opportunities, prioritize efforts, and forecast growth accurately. Monitor market, competitor, and industry activity to identify trends and support strategic planning and product line growth. Drive market development efforts by increasing CryoDuct visibility throughout the United States and Canada through customer visits, presentations, training, and industry engagement. Assist customers with escalations for technical support issues and engineering and design assistance. Collaborate with executive management on sales processes, strategy, and sales and marketing budgets. Participate in industry trade shows and regional events to strengthen market presence, identify new opportunities, and manage onsite/web-based training. Assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans with the Marketing Manager. Assist with the creation of sales presentations and other documentation and materials. Assist with research and development of new products and offerings by sharing market feedback. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred. Experience: 3-7 years of outside sales, technical sales, or business development experience required, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or related industries. Experience calling on engineers, contractors, OEMs, or industrial clients preferred. Experience managing a national or multi-state territory preferred. Travel: Frequent travel across the United States and Canada is required. Up to 50% travel, including regular overnight travel for customer visits, meetings, and industry events. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented. Excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be able to explain technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to apply engineering and technical principles to product sales. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. Personable, outgoing style with the ability to interact with varying levels of management and field employees, customers, and the public. Computer skills in a variety of office software packages. Technical & Professional Skills: Strong organizational, planning, scheduling, and time management skills Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills Knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD Mechanical preferred. Other Requirements: While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, talk, or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to a moderate noise level.
