About the Role
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be the CEO of your business, working strategically and methodically to quickly develop a deep understanding of your customers' businesses. You will navigate through large organizations, understand your clients' specific challenges and business objectives, and align your software offering to build custom solutions that your clients can't live without. Your exceptional storytelling skills will enable you to present across multiple departments, and you will excel in dynamic environments, providing excellent customer service and shifting gears at a moment's notice.
Your Impact
Success will be measured by your overall performance in expanding existing and new accounts, driving true Digital Transformation, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing an in-depth understanding of Salesforce products and solutions
Acting as the primary point of contact, ensuring that client inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly
Staying informed about industry trends and competitive offerings
Developing key customer stakeholder relationships and driving customer satisfaction
Understanding the challenges our customers are working to solve and developing a strong point of view on how we can partner to help
Developing and driving the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
Coordinating internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs
Performing account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources to ensure strategic alignment
Sharing the Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers
Keeping clients informed about new product features, updates, and enhancements relevant to their needs
Identifying and driving growth opportunities within existing accounts and working towards expanding Salesforce services
Addressing and resolving client issues in a timely and efficient manner
Utilizing data analysis to pinpoint areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations
Your Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum of 7-10 years of full-cycle SaaS closing experience
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness and ability to travel to client locations as required
Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
Experience building global engagement across multiple lines of business and broadening product support within an organization
Collaboration experience with internal team members like Solutions Engineers and Customer Success Managers, Product Managers, and Co-Prime teammates
Financial acumen
Solid career longevity and track record of success
Understanding of what an account plan/mutual close plan is and how it leads to success
Solid business acumen around forecasting and customer management
Self-motivation with a commitment to achieving and exceeding sales targets
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. For Washington D.C-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $152,650 to $231,200.
