As a Store Development Manager, you'll be an integral part of this mission, contributing to the company's success by identifying and securing prime retail locations. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the store development team to develop an integrated market plan, ensuring seamless openings for new stores or remodels/renovations. Develop a comprehensive strategic plan to manage a regional portfolio of stores, including a regional renewal strategy. Prepare letters of intent or renewal, create proformas, drive territory tours with operations, negotiate LOIs, leases, and lease renewals to meet and exceed company standards. Meet with landlords and city representatives, proactively coordinating with design and construction partners to manage the entitlement process. Research new and existing submarkets through broker networks, new market surveys, and visits, responding to unsolicited site submittals. Track and meet performance goals and budget, accurately preparing management and pipeline reports and business plans. Work cross-functionally with all team members of the Store Development business unit, forging and nurturing a respectful, trusting, and collaborative relationship with the operations team. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 5 years of experience in retail or restaurant new store rollout. 5 years of experience in financial planning and market analysis. 5 years of experience in project management in chain store, retail, or commercial brokerage. 5 years of experience in real estate deal-making and negotiations. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: A degree in real estate, business, finance, or a related field. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A proven track record of success in store development or a related field. Skills and Competencies To excel as a Store Development Manager, you'll need: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional results. Proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools.
