What You'll Do as a Customer Service Specialist

As a vital member of our retail team, you will take on diverse responsibilities that keep our store running smoothly and our customers coming back. Your daily activities will include:


Customer Consultation: Work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their specific needs, preferences, and project requirements. Listen actively to determine the best products and solutions for their unique situations.
Product Expertise: Become thoroughly knowledgeable about arenaflex products, including features, benefits, applications, and proper usage. Stay current with new product launches, updates, and industry trends to provide accurate, up-to-date information.
Sales Support: Recommend appropriate products and solutions that address customer needs while consistently meeting store sales goals. Drive revenue growth through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques.
Issue Resolution: Promptly address and resolve any customer concerns, complaints, or issues that arise. Turn potentially negative situations into positive outcomes that reinforce customer loyalty.
Store Standards: Maintain the high quality and visual standards of our products and store environment. Ensure displays are attractive, organized, and accurately represent the arenaflex brand.
Transaction Processing: Handle cash, electronic payments, and other payment methods accurately and securely. Operate point-of-sale systems and maintain proper documentation.
Inventory Management: Assist with stock management, product organization, and ensuring availability of key items. Report inventory needs to management as appropriate.
Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with fellow team members to ensure seamless store operations and consistent customer service across all touchpoints.

Essential Qualifications


High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or certifications in retail, business, or related fields preferred.
Previous experience in retail customer service, sales, or a similar customer-facing role preferred.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
Basic math skills and comfort with handling cash and electronic payment transactions.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderately heavy products, and perform routine store tasks.

Preferred Qualifications


Experience in the paint, coatings, home improvement, or building materials industry.
Knowledge of product specifications, color matching, or technical product applications.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
