Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.The Stop Loss Actuarial Analyst III completes very diverse and complicated projects and performs very complex actuarial studies for our Employer Group Stop Loss segment, supporting Commercial Pricing functions. In particular, this role will primarily focus on our rapidly growing Wellpoint Stop Loss segment.How You Will Make An ImpactPrimary duties may include, but are not limited to:• Analyzes and implements risk contracts including conducting experience analyses, pricing, filing and settlement work; and prepares management reports• Assists in training of actuarial trainees, analysts and specialists• Coordinates/directs special actuarial projects• Collaborates with a diverse group of stakeholders to provide Pricing support and Risk AnalysisMinimum RequirementsRequires a BA/BS and to have passed a minimum of four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams and a minimum of 3 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities And Experiences• Knowledge or work experience in the Stop Loss product area• Large Group Commercial Pricing ExperienceFor candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $88,000.00 to $158,400.00Locations: California; Colorado; District of Columbia (Washington, DC), Nevada; New York; Washington StateIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
