Job Description of Stockroom Coordinator: The Stockroom Coordinator is a crucial member of the FedEx Warehouse team. They are responsible for managing the movement, storage, and dispatch of goods, which involves loading and unloading shipments, sorting packages, and documenting and storing goods accurately. Their role is critical for ensuring the uninterrupted movement of packages to enable timely deliveries. Key Responsibilities of Stockroom Coordinator: • The assignment of managing the movement of packages onto and off of delivery trucks and trailers. • Continuously evaluate and adjust placement strategies to optimize storage space and improve workflow. • Safeguarding packages during shipment requires an attentive preparation process that includes labeling, sealing, and securing them with proper materials. • Maneuver Pallet Jacks and Hand Trucks to transport products within the warehouse safely. • Carry out inventory examinations and preserve accurate records of goods that come in and go out • Promote a safe and secure work environment by upholding cleanliness and organization in the warehouse. • Play a vital role in coordinating the logistical activities of shipping and receiving. Qualifications of Stockroom Coordinator: • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
