About the position

Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you'll be operating the registers or other machinery, stocking our shelves, keeping our stores looking their best, and serving our customers. This position is part-time, with an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, and offers a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. The role requires you to perform various duties with or without reasonable accommodation, ensuring that you contribute positively to the team and the overall shopping experience of our customers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases, performing general cleaning duties, and stocking shelves and merchandise displays neatly. Providing exceptional customer service is a key aspect of this role, as you will assist customers with their shopping experience and provide feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues. You will also participate in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitor inventory for accuracy while adhering to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses. As a Stocker, your responsibilities will include stocking shelves and rotating products properly to guarantee fresh products are available for customers. You will follow merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays, organize new inventory, and remove and break down empty boxes. Operating machinery and following all safety procedures is also a critical part of this role. The physical demands of the job require regular sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking about the store, with the ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.

? Must be 18 years of age or older.
