Steel Erection Estimator (Remote)

Job Title: Remote Steel Erection Estimator Location: Remote | Type: Full-Time Overview We are seeking an experienced Steel Erection Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive bids for structural steel and pre-engineered metal building projects. This role is fully remote and requires strong knowledge of steel erection means, methods, and costs. Responsibilities • Review drawings and specifications to determine project scope. • Perform take-offs for steel, labor, equipment, and crane usage. • Develop detailed cost estimates and proposals. • Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and project managers. • Track market pricing and adjust estimates accordingly. Project Types Warehouses, commercial buildings, aviation, hospitality, retail centers, PEMBs, and custom structural steel projects. Qualifications • 3-5+ years estimating steel erection projects. • Proficient with estimating/take-off software and blueprint reading. • Tekla Experience is highly preferred • Strong communication, accuracy, and ability to work independently.
