Description
As an Account Executive, SAAS Sales, you will be instrumental in devising and implementing the strategy for meeting performance targets through our ISV channel. Your role will be focused on (a) hunting new partnership opportunities with software providers with integrated payments, POS systems, and other software/technology providers embedded in these markets that will be a strong revenue source for the company. As an Account Executive, you will be expected to be proficient in understanding the Stax Connect technology platform, competitive landscape, mechanics around merchant pricing and revenue sharing, payment industry knowledge, and prospecting and pipeline management. Key Responsibilities & ObjectivesDevise and implement business plans to target and reach prospective partners in the integrated solutions marketAbility to ask proper discovery questions, drive a customer presentation, deliver a demo, and maintain strategic next steps via an Account PlanActively prospect for new partners, as well as support and participate in corporate planning of demand generation activities (e.g., trade shows, conferences, etc.)Manage and serve as the primary contact for the full partner sales cycle.Work in tandem with Implementation team to set them up for success upon partner hand-off post signatureEffectively balance your time and activities between prospecting for new partners and progressing partners through the sales funnelRegularly research top competitors and industry newsLearn, use, and adhere to company requirements around use of our CRM (Hubspot), as proper activity tracking is a core component of our selling philosophyAbility to use and embrace required tools as apart of the sales process (ie: ZoomInfo, LI Navigator, etc)Adhere to a value-based selling methodology for every partnerRelentless in desire to achieve results on a monthly and quarterly basisApproach each conversation with high character and integrity with partners and your colleaguesDesire to contribute to the broader goals of the organization beyond your immediate areas of responsibilityDesire to actively support, drive, and improve the culture of the companyCoachable and able to take direction and feedback well, yet being forward-thinking to challenge the status quoBe a brand ambassador in the local and industry communities through event presence and thought leadership
Requirements
Payment processing experience required and ISV partnership experience preferred5+ years experience in building and nurturing SAAS partnerships with integrated software providers and other software/technology providers that have payment-related needsProven track record of regularly over-achieving against assigned sales targetsExperience working with Senior management to align strategies and solutionsExcellent negotiation skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentSolution-oriented with the ability to think strategically and creatively across the decision-making spectrumStrong attention to detail and work ethic, with intrinsic drive to exceed expectations and goalsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperienced and self-sufficient in use of presentation, productivity, and communication tools (e.g., G-Suite, Slack, etc.)Willing and able to travel as necessary to prospect, close/manage partnerships, etc.Preferable experience in our target SaaS verticals of Healthcare, Field Services and/or Professional Services
