THE ROLE:
MileSplit, the leading scholastic track network in North America, is looking for a seasonal staff member to assist our stats team.
ā¢ Learn the ins and outs of MileSplit
ā¢ This role is seasonal(March-May)
ā¢ Seeking a commitment of 10-25 hours per week
ā¢ Must have weeknight (7PM-2 AM EST) AND weekend availability March-May
ā¢ Potential for seasonal job in Fall for cross country
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ā¢ Gather, convert, post and process track & field results into MileSplitās database
ā¢ Responsible for timely communication with Stats Team Lead and team members
ā¢ Verify and ensure accuracy of data in results/rankings
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
ā¢ Must have a demonstrated subject matter expertise in cross-country and track & field
ā¢ Strong attention to detail
ā¢ Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
ā¢ Excellent in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
ā¢ Comfortable working with text editing software
ā¢ Process driven
ā¢ Strong problem solving ability
ā¢ Comfortable working in a fast paced, remote work environment
