Startup Tax Advisor / CPA (Business + Personal, QSBS Experience)
Description: We’re a small SaaS company and need an experienced tax advisor or CPA to handle both the business and possibly personal returns, advise on conversion-related tax implications, and structure our company for QSBS eligibility. Responsibilities: - Review our past 2 years returns (company) and lead discussion about our conversion from being taxed as LLC to S-Corp. I would like a 2nd set of eyes this was done correctly. - Advise on tax implications of LLC/S-Corp → C-Corp conversion. - Prepare and file business tax return - Optionally prepare individual returns (single owner). - Coordinate with our corporate attorney to align legal and tax strategy. Qualifications: - Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent in the U.S. - Experience with startups, corporate conversions, and QSBS. - Ability to provide clear, practical advice. - Excellent communication and documentation habits.
