Proof of work The team Kraken’s Pro business unit is responsible for our global exchange businesses and trading platforms, including our flagship Kraken Pro web and mobile products and matching infrastructure across spot, margin and derivative products. Our secure, trusted platform and deep liquidity fuel a wide range of clients and partners, from individuals making their first trade on our powerful yet elegant GUIs, to the most sophisticated algorithmic trading firms and prime brokerages. The opportunity Act as a mentor and thought leader across Kraken Pro platform, helping elevate product thinking and execution and ensuring the platform is positioned for long-term success. Innovate and lead Pro Exchange pod, defining and owning the long-term product strategy and roadmap for trading capabilities. Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver new features, functionalities, enhancements. Drive alignment and communication across teams and executives to ensure transparency and shared understanding of priorities. Translate business requirements into technical product requirements including specifications, process flows, wireframes Collaborate with the Institutional Sales and Trading teams to cultivate and maintain relationships with institutional clients, and other stakeholders. Skills you should HODL 5+ years in product leadership roles with experience driving end-to-end development of institutional-grade platforms Proven ability to translate institutional client needs into intuitive, scalable product solutions. Ability to drive the long-term growth of the Pro platform through strategic planning, business development, and the optimization of trading operations. Deep understanding of trade execution, market structure, multivenue execution, pricing models, and risk management. Ability to bridge trading concepts into technical product requirements. Strong quantitative and analytical skills; familiarity with financial markets modeling and complex trading systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Experience with operational processes, risk models and safeguards, ensuring trade compliance, smooth execution, and effective risk management throughout the trade lifecycle. A deep passion for the crypto industry, including staying at the forefront of new trends, technologies, and developments. A learning attitude and willingness to innovate are crucial. Able to align diverse stakeholders, clearly articulate product decisions, and inspire cross-functional teams.
