Our Payments Risk Platform Managers (PM) own and lead outcomes related to foundation, growth, and empowerment. This means our PMs set the vision, business and product strategy, the roadmap, and execute on the plans that are developed. The Difference You Will Make:This role sits within bolthires’s Payments Risk and Compliance domain.The PM Payments Risk role will define the strategy and product roadmap for enabling world class Risk management capabilities, ensuring bolthires is able to protect and grow our community. You’ll bring the latest thinking and industry best practices in fraud detection, risk defenses, and dispute adjudication to shape the evolution of risk management at bolthires.. You’ll partner with functional experts in other business units across bolthires to create a cohesive strategy to develop and implement robust defense mechanisms and develop platform capabilities to proactively manage risks across the ecosystem..You will work with a cross functional team to bring capabilities to market, and scale globally. A Typical Day: • Define and maintain the product strategy, and roadmap for risk management initiatives focused on fraud detection, defenses, and dispute resolution. • Align the roadmap with Payments Risk, Payments, and overall bolthires priorities. • Set business and platform objectives for each project, ensuring timely delivery and value. • Continuously optimize risk management approaches to minimize friction for trusted users, enabling seamless experiences that foster revenue growth.• Work closely with engineering, data science, operations, compliance, legal, and support teams to launch impactful risk-related products and features. • Expand the use of Gen AI solutions in payments risk, including fraud management and dispute resolution, while leveraging to address emerging threats. Your Expertise: • * 10+ years building payments, Payments Risk or risk related products in a product management role within global technology or financial services companies. • Prior experience working with Payments Risk including Machine Learning, Transaction Risk.(Fintech experience strongly preferred) • A subject matter expert on payments risk with proven track record of launching and scaling risk detection, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution products that balance customer experience • Experience leading complex projects, leveraging ML, operations, and signals from external vendors • Technical chops with experience as an engineer, data scientist, analyst, or operations • Experience integrating Gen AI as solution and delivering business value • Thrives in a startup environment: loves dealing with fast pace, changing needs, and limited resources.Your Location:This position is US -Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an bolthires office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
