About the position

The Staff Pharmacist Manager at Accredo is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a team of pharmacists and technicians in a fulfillment center. This role includes managing prescription dispensing, monitoring staff performance, ensuring compliance with quality and service standards, and addressing operational issues. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and evaluate staff while maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities
• Manage day to day prescription dispensing in the fulfillment center.
,
• Schedule and monitor staff and day to day workflow.
,
• Develop employee's skills, evaluate performance and provide feedback.
,
• Oversee resolution of employee relations issues.
,
• Conduct hiring, training and evaluation of staff.
,
• Develop, track and monitor employee's compliance to quality, service and production standards.
,
• Monitor prescription turnaround time to meet internal standards and client performance guarantees.
,
• Assist Senior Pharmacy Manager in monitoring costs to ensure compliance with cost to fill goals.
,
• Address staff concerns and operational issues.
,
• Serve as a point of escalation for complex issues.
,
• Represent pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings and projects.
,
• Conduct special projects and tasks as assigned.
,
• Serve as PIC delegate as needed.
,
• Serve as clinical lead for client meetings and tours.

Requirements
• B.S or Pharm. D. in Pharmacy
,
• 3-5 years relevant experience
,
• Pharmacist License in good standing in the state of employment
,
• Willingness to obtain additional non-resident pharmacist licenses
,
• PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
,
• Good organizational ability
,
• Strong attention to detail
,
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
,
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Nice-to-haves
