This role is focused on shaping and executing integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen Stem’s brand, support business and growth objectives, and engage key stakeholders across customers, partners, media, investors, and internal audiences.You will lead the development of compelling marketing content and campaigns, partner closely with cross-functional teams to support go-to-market efforts, and ensure consistent, impactful storytelling across channels including digital, events, PR, and sales enablement. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is ideal for a marketer who thrives at the intersection of brand, storytelling, and business impact.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute integrated campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels (website, email, social, and digital media) that support brand awareness and business objectivesSupport website and digital content strategy by contributing to messaging, campaign pages, and performance-driven content that aligns with go-to-market prioritiesDevelop and execute strategic communications plans for external audiences, including media relations, press releases, and stakeholder engagement to enhance company visibility and reputationServe as a key point of contact for media interactions, managing inquiries, coordinating interviews, and ensuring consistent messagingPartner with marketing leadership to align brand messaging and communications strategies across all external channels and campaignsCollaborate with executive staff to develop key messaging themes and narratives that support company goals and product launchesOversee the creation of high-quality content including executive communications, press releases, customer announcements, blog posts, and thought leadership articlesSupport internal communications initiatives to promote organizational alignment, employee engagement, and company cultureSupport executive preparation for media interviews, speaking engagements, and industry eventsManage relationships with external PR agencies, media organizations, and communication vendorsPromote events, conferences, and tradeshows through targeted communication activitiesOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, or related fieldProven track record developing and executing strategic communications campaigns that drive business resultsStrong, versatile writing skills with experience authoring press releases, executive communications, and external-facing contentExperience managing media relations activities and serving as a company spokesperson or key media contactDemonstrated ability to distill complex technical and industry topics into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiencesExcellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationProficiency with communications tools and platforms (e.g., content management systems, email marketing platforms, social media)Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, sales, and executive leadershipAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentBachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the renewable energy, solar, or energy storage industryKnowledge of clean energy technology and sustainability topicsFamiliarity with crisis communications and issues managementExperience with investor relations communicationsUnderstanding of B2B communications strategies and enterprise audiencesCertification in public relations or communications (e.g., APR accreditation) is a plusEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent experienceAdditional certifications in communications, public relations, or related fields are a plusWork Environment:Office setting, primarily in open workspace environmentModerate noise levels (business office with computers, phones, printers, moderate foot traffic)Ability to sit or stand (standing desk provided upon request) at a computer terminal for extended periodsOccasional travel may be required for events, conferences, or team meetingsPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (talk/write/type) and operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office equipmentSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer workRegular, predictable attendance is requiredSalary Range$111,680.00 - $167,520.00What We Offer: At Stem, you will work in a growing, innovative, mission-driven company with talented colleagues that have a passion for building renewable energy systems.
