Staff Fullstack Java Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to lead our engineering team in developing innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on building scalable and reliable systems. You will be responsible for driving technical projects and mentoring junior engineers, while also contributing to the overall engineering strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of robust software applications using Java, React, and Node.js.
• Architect and implement microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Oversee the integration of message brokers such as ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ into our systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and coding standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes and tools.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by optimizing code and systems.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java (Primary), React, and Node.
• Proven experience with system design for scalability
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with on-prem and/or private cloud (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of messaging systems such as ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ preferred.
• Familiarity with SaaS application development and deployment.
• Experience with Golang is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
