Staff Frontend Engineer (Document App)

Remote Full-time

We are on the lookout for a Staff Frontend Engineer to become part of our Content team. In this role, you will own, refine, and elevate the heart of our product - the editor. You will work together with a team of 5 skilled engineers, and build upon our foundation of solid ownership, quality, and processes. Our goal is to strengthen the team and set new standards in both technical strategy and product development.


In this role, you will:



  • Build the technical vision together with the team, staying ahead of the curve on emerging technologies and best practices. This includes actively researching and implementing solutions to level up the quality, performance, and maintainability of our front-end codebase.

  • Own and lead the development including architecture, design, and implementation.

  • Effectively manage stakeholders across various disciplines, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

  • Advocate clean code practices and a high bar for technical excellence.

  • Provide consultations regarding the contribution of new features into the domain. Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of learning and teamwork.

  • Participate in presentations and demos, and organize knowledge-sharing events.

About you:



  • Minimum 7+ years of experience as a front-end engineer, with a proven track record of leading and owning complex projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of modern front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, Event Sourcing, React, Redux, Redux-saga, immutable.js, Webpack, Jest/react-testing-library/playwright).

  • Experience with building scalable and performant web applications. Practical experience and deep understanding of web performance aspects.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders across technical and non-technical backgrounds.
