Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our forensic accounting team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in acquiring, analyzing, and providing internal deliverables to the senior team. Duties: - Help acquire, index, and analyze financial records of various types for various purposes as required by the forensic accounting objectives.- Perform reconciliations to the completeness of financial data, as required. - Document and analyze of internal controls. - Stay updated on relevant financial concepts, accounting standards, and industry regulations Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Experience in financial audit and a proven track records with such engagements (the firm however, does not ""audit""; the skill set is similar however) - Solid understanding of financial concepts and principles - Proficiency in financial accounting practices and procedures - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - Excellent organizational and time management abilities - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentThis is a temporary position on a projec-by-project basis.While sometimes the tasks requires quick turn around but most times you can work at your pace as long as the agreed upon deadlines are met.
